Ksar Ghilane is also the living place for several nomadic families that dwell modestly on animal breeding, dates’ cultivation, and camel walks which is something they are very proud of. Settled here because of their children’s education, they are nomads by heart as many of them had chosen the desert over modern life. These families are often hired by tourist agencies for organizing small camel hikes. These “desert lovers” faithful to their traditions are experts in their trade and will invite you to discover and share their lifestyle, values, and their world. Going to the desert, it’s like going on a lifetime adventure.
