Morocco will captivate any traveler as you encounter the great beauty and cultures found throughout the country. There are many ways to travel through Morocco and enjoy your tour but below are 4 tips to a successful Morocco tour we recommend you to consider in order to fully encounter the wonderful cultures in Morocco.

Private Transportation

From your first meeting at the airport to your final drop off, we highly recommend you travel in your own private transportation with an English-speaking driver. Your driver will provide you with insights into Moroccan customs and cultures while driving you from place to place in the comfort of the vehicle. You do not need to worry about how to navigate through Moroccan cities or find the best restaurants. Allow your driver to recommend places to visit and where to find the best food in town.

City Guides

Winding through the ancient medinas can be a very intimidating adventure to some and often maps help very little when walking between tightly packed streets and houses full of shops and carts. If you would like to really get to know the history and see the most-visited sites, we recommend you take a guided tour. We STRONGLY encourage our travellers to take a guided tour through cities like Marrakesh and Fes.

Sahara Desert Camel Excursion

If you have more than a week in Morocco you should consider spending a night in the Sahara desert. You will begin your journey on the edge of the desert and your guide will lead the camels up and over large sand dunes until you reach the Berber tents. On your way you may want to stop to watch the sunset over the rolling dunes. Dinner is prepared at the camp and you will be served a traditional Moroccan feast. The desert excursion is often a highlight for travelers on a Moroccan tour.

Riads or Hotels

Morocco has a wonderful variety of accommodation options. You can stay in hotels with a Moroccan flavor or in a Riad. Riads are traditional Moroccan houses transformed into beautiful guesthouses that often have a garden space and may of them have pools. These beautiful guesthouses provide a space to relax after a full day of tours. Riads will also allow you to have a more authentic Moroccan adventure.
