We had a tremendous trip and would absolutely travel with Mosaic North Africa again. Mosaic North Africa listened closely to what kind of tour we were looking for – although we didn’t know specifically what we should see – and put together run of historical highlights that was absolutely right for us. From the first day, our guide, Nourredine, worked out what we’d be interested in and the level of our engagement. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, and basically a great person to travel with. And a shout-out to our driver, Sammie, who brought us safely and skilfully through northern and central Tunisia (and its traffic!).
Our eyes were opened to Tunisia’s remarkable history, from Punic harbours and complete Roman towns to the first mosque in North Africa and the viaduct that brought water to Carthage. We would tell anyone visiting not to miss the Bardo Museum, the Roman town of Dugga, the harbors of Carthage, the mosque at Kairouan, the amphitheater at El Jem, and our special find, the Skila silk scarf shop in Mahdia. We were very glad to have Mosaic North Africa’s experience and knowledge that allowed them to put together our tour.
All the organization and timings were seamless, including morning pick-ups, meals, and hotel check-ins. Our exchanges with Mosaic North Africa before we arrived were excellent. And we made full use of the very useful information guide they provided. We particularly appreciated the care with which they got four people arriving into Tunis on three different flights over the course of twelve hours collected and brought to the first hotel without any problem.
Thank you for a wonderful experience!
