This was my first international trip and first time visiting Tunisia! I was nervous and anxious about what this trip would offer and what I needed to prepare. Just as I had these feelings of worry, I was even more excited. From booking flights, and preparing travel documents to providing phone call assistance, Mosaic North Africa’s travel agents supported me throughout the preparation.

With their help, my worries were eased so that my excitement could shine!

Once I landed, Mosaic North Africa supported and cared for me, easing my nerves so I could enjoy the whole adventure. With transportation, dining, and accommodations all taken care of, I could absorb the country’s beauty, hospitality, and amazing food (I ate my body weight of food in Harissa, Brik, and Couscous).

I was fortunate to have a tour guide with an archeology background, which made the experience rewarding as he offered knowledge on the history of each site I visited. The sites I saw were amazing, from the Roman ruins to the Amazigh culture, the tour guide offered a cohesive experience with his knowledge. The driver that we had was a trooper (not a stormtrooper)! He drove the group from north to south and watched over our stuff. He also knew the local area so well and took us to the best places for lunch, giving us all unforgettable experiences.

The history of this country was great to learn. Seeing the ancient ruins of different eras was like taking a time machine. It was also heart-warming to meet the local people in different cities. The country is simply amazing. Going into the desert and then to a city was not a negative shock at all. The flow of the tour really set me up for a fun surprise!

I really enjoy the Star Wars movies, and to find out that it was filmed in Tunisia was a shock to me! I ate in Luke’s house and then stood on top of Obi-Wan Kenobi’s house! I was over the Death Star!

This was a great trip! For someone who does not travel often, Mosaic North Africa made this trip effortless. The country itself is already beautiful, and Mosaic North Africa captured its beauty in a fun and digestible way. As I do have a bad cat allergy, with my high recommendation of this tour, I would recommend allergy pills (which I was easily able to get in the country).
