Overall, our tour was truly exhilarating. The itinerary was well-paced and covered all of the locations of interest to us. Our driver-guide Nadhem was tireless in his efforts to make the whole experience something special for us and it was easy to see his genuine concern for Dimity’s well-being as she struggled to adjust to the heat. I would recommend him to anyone.
It is impossible to identify the most outstanding part of our tour. Chenini and Sousse were highlights but some of the UNESCO sites were most impressive, along with the numerous museums with their displays of restored mosaics and other artifacts. The landscapes were a real surprise for their vast and rugged scope, parched after a long, hot summer.
