Nahdem was spectacular…..knowledgeable, punctual, passionate, warm, caring and kind. The accommodations were excellent, I would advise those, the experience with local guest houses added so much to the tour.  Nahdem knew where to take us for breaks, clean toilet stops, great lunches with fresh local foods.  The sites were all spectacular, I learned, saw and experienced so much on this trip. The Bardo was mind blowing with its collections of mosaics. Star Wars sight was unique as was the oasis and gorgeous canyons. The rich history of dougga, kairouan and its mosque, the Medina of tunis and kairouan. I loved getting coffee and see pascha the camel turning the water wheel. A real unexpected highlight! Constantine for its rich rich history and the sights of mahter (sp) and sibilius (not sure of the name here) were amazing. And of course, the amphitheater of el jem. Tunisia is a cultural and historic treasure box, don’t miss this gem with Mosaic.

 

Private tour was the way to go! Nahdem had to deal with our reservation problem at the dar in tunis, he worked very hard to get it fixed.
