We are very happy that we took this trip – it was very worthwhile and enriching. We especially found the ancient sites – the well-preserved Roman ruins and the Jewish sites (such as the synagogue that dates back to 586 BCE and the all-but-forgotten cemeteries) -to be very special. Kevin Dyck’s responsiveness and attention to detail were exemplary. Both of the guides he employed were well-informed and helpful. [Photos (sorry, none of us) are attached.]
As I said earlier, we thought that M’Hamed was absolutely wonderful – he was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and engaging, and extremely flexible; his command of English was extraordinary. We thought that Anis was perfectly adequate.
As to the itinerary, we believe that it was very well structured although it seems like we did waste some time in Tunisia – perhaps there just wasn’t anything else to see or do there.
