Hassan II Mosque

If you’re in Casablanca, then you must visit the Hassan II Mosque. This is the largest mosque in Morocco. It took over 7 years and about 10,000 artisans to construct this masterpiece. 

The Hassan II Mosque is the third largest mosque in the world. Its minaret has a height of 210 meters (690 ft) making it the tallest religious structure in the world. Considered the most ambitious structure ever constructed in Morocco, the Hassan II Mosque rises above the Atlantic Ocean and dominates much of the city’s skyline.

Moroccan Jewish Museum

The Moroccan Jewish Museum, established in 1997, is the only Jewish museum in the Arab world. You can learn about the 2,000 year-long history of the Jews living in Morocco. Casablanca is also where most of the Jews in Morocco are living today. There is also a Jewish cemetery located in Casablanca.
