This is a great food and culinary tour addition to your Tunisia tour! Spend an afternoon accompanying Rabaa, a friendly host and experienced chef in picking out fresh ingredients from the traditional medina (old city) in Sousse. Afterwards, you will spend the afternoon learning the art of Tunisian culinary from preparing the ingredients to cooking a full course meal. Then of course, you will finish the afternoon by enjoying your home-cooked traditional Tunisian cuisine with your host.
Food has an amazing way of bringing cultures together. You will find your afternoon to be well spent with this unforgettable culinary and cultural learning experience with a lovely host and delicious food.

Scuba Diving on Djerba Island
Djerba Island is well known as a great spot for snorkeling and scuba diving. It is possible to scuba dive on Djerba Island all year round. There are a range of courses available for adults and children ranging from beginner level to advanced level. All courses are taught by qualified and experienced instructors and adheres to the PADI (Professional Association of Diving Instructors) level standards.
There are lots of amazing things to see while scuba diving on Djerba Island including the Richard Giniori Wreck, a 150m/492ft-long Italian warship, the Aitalla Wreck, the Aïda Wreck, Octopus Reef, Ras Turgueness Reef and Sidi Solimen Reef. You will be fascinated by the beautiful marine life in the Mediterranean waters with its beautiful reefs, sea sponges, reef fishes, red and black corals, octopuses, breams, rays, dolphins and much more for you to discover.
Duration: 2.5 hours for children only program. 4 hours minimum for adults dive. Scuba diving courses available ranging from a minimum of 2 days to 4 weeks depending on course level.
Kitesurfing, Windsurfing and Sailing on Djerba Island
Djerba Island has some of the best spots for kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing. Come and enjoy that amazing sensation of the wind blowing into your face as you glide over the Mediterranean water!
Kitesurfing, windsurfing and sailing are fun water activities even for those attempting it for their first time. If you are a beginner, you will begin with learning the basics of the water sport with a qualified and experienced instructor. For those with some knowledge and experience will practice with an instructor for training and improvement. If you are an expert, then feel free to rent the water sport equipment and fly across the water on your own.
Duration: A basic lesson for first-time learners will take 2 hours. Beginner-level course takes about 10 hours to be completed over 2-3 days. Advanced-level course takes about 6 hours to complete. Private lessons are available based on hourly rates.
Learn Tunisian Arabic on Djerba Island
The best way to appreciate the Tunisian culture is to learn the heart language of Tunisians and through interaction with the Tunisian culture.
Spending 1 to 2 hours each day to learn Tunisian Arabic during your stay in Djerba will greatly enhance your travel experience! Each language lesson is taught by a native Tunisia speaker as your language nurturer. The lessons are interactive with your language nurturer, and can be arranged one-on-one or in small groups (up to 4 people per class).
Duration: There are a variety of courses to choose from that will meet your needs such as a 1 or 2 day “just a taste” language and cultural program, as well as a lengthier 10 day introductory program.
