The museum is situated in buildings that were constructed in the XIXth century under the Bey’s dynasty with Moorish Andalousian architecture. Located within the World Heritage site of the Sousse medina Kasbah, you will find the Sousse archaeology museum. Renovated and reopened in 2012, the museum contains a vast number of Roman mosaics and antiquities from the Punic period. There is also a large room dedicated to the early Christian’s in that region with numerous funeray mosaics. You will also find incredible views over the Sea from the Kasbah walls.
