When is the best time to visit Morocco?

Although Morocco and be traveled any time of the year, it can be more comfortable to travel in certain seasons. Here are some of our suggestions on the best time to visit Morocco:

Best Travel Times:

September to the beginning of November and April to mid-June. The spring and fall times are absolutely fantastic. With warm days reaching up to 30 Celsius and then the temperatures dropping off in the evenings. Although this is often the high season, there is a good reason why this is. You can enjoy most activities throughout Morocco during those months. If you are interested in a hike through the mountains, a Sahara camel trek, or a medina tour you will find those activities possible during the spring and fall months.

Winter and Summer Travel:

As mentioned above, Morocco is great to explore any time of the year but summer and winter offer additional challenges. The summers are very very hot, so if you do not like hot summer days you may need to reconsider. Temperatures can reach up to 40 Celsius and the Sahara desert is a scorcher. The winter days are cool and can often be rainy. There is snow in January or February in the Atlas mountains that provides picturesque landscapes.
