Algeria is an incredible country to visit, but it has often been left untraveled by English speaking explorers. Many years ago myself and a friend decided to visit the sites of St. Augustine on our own through Eastern Algeria. Both of us as students of Moroccan Arabic were able to travel well in the country with our Arabic, but I did notice a large gap in the tourism industry for any English speaking travelers.
