Day 1 ARRIVE CASABLANCA

Welcome to Morocco! Today you will arrive at the Casablanca international airport and be driven to your hotel in Casablanca for some much needed rest. If you have an early arrival you may want to take an afternoon visit and tour the third largest mosque in the world, Hassan II Mosque, which dominates much of the city's skyline. Dinner will be at your hotel.

Day 2 CASABLANCA / RABAT / CHEFCHAUEN

After breakfast you travel to Rabat, the capital city of Morocco. While in this Imperial City you will visit the Le Tour Hassan and Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the Andalusian Gardens and the palace walls. You will take lunch in Rabat and continue driving north into the mountains to the famous blue and white medina, Chefchaouen. After checking into your hotel you may want to take a stroll around this quaint medina. Dinner will be at your hotel.

Day 3 CHEFCHAUEN / FES

Today will be an exciting day of ancient sites from the Roman to Islamic periods. After breakfast you will depart for the spectacular Roman ruins of Volubilis where you will take a guided tour. After this you will drive to Meknes, an ancient Imperial City, for lunch. You will have time to explore the city but you will want to pay particular attention to locations focusing on the era of Moulay Idriss; his underground prison, gates, and his mausoleum. A horse and carriage ride may finish the afternoon nicely. From Meknes you will drive to Fes where you will take dinner in your hotel/riad.

Day 4 FES

After breakfast your group will take a half or full day guided tour of the famous ancient medina of Fes. In this 1200-year-old city you will visit sites where very little has changed since the city was first established. You will be swept back in time as you wander through this labyrinth of streets and alleys, visiting the tanneries, bronze workers, mosques, and more. Lunch will be taken at a restaurant in a traditional house in the heart of the medina close to the world famous Kairaouine mosque. Dinner will be at your hotel/riad.

Day 5 FES / ERFOUD

You will have breakfast at the hotel in Fes and will take a short stop in Ifrane, 'Little Switzerland' to photograph this modern town and perhaps enjoy one of their cafes. You will then travel and try your luck at spotting Barbary Apes in the cedar forest and continue traveling through the breathtaking Middle Atlas mountain ranges until you reach your unique Kasbah hotel in the oasis town of Erfoud.

Day 6 ERFOUD / MERZOUGA DESERT EXCURSION

After breakfast you will be picked up by 4X4 vehicles to take you to a Kasbah where you will begin your Sahara Desert excursion. You will take lunch at the Kasbah and rest until you depart for your desert camel trek and spend the night in a traditional Berber tent by Erg Chebbi, a set of dunes that can reach 160 meters high. At sunset you will enjoy the amazing colors of the dunes. Dinner will be enjoyed at your camp.

Day 7 MERZOUGA / TINGHIR / AIT BENHADDOU

This will be an early morning to see the sun rise over the dunes. After breakfast you will ride your camels back to the Kasbah and be driven by 4X4 back to Erfoud where you will you meet your driver. Your first stop will be Tinghir to visit the awe-inspiring Todra Gorges. There will be fantastic photo opportunities of this giant gorge. After this you will travel to Ait Ben Haddou where films such as Lawrence of Arabia and Gladiator were filmed. Dinner will be at your hotel.

4* Kasbah

Day 8 AIT BENHADDOU / MARRAKESH

Today will be an exciting day of traveling to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains. You may stop any time along the way to photograph the mountains and the remote alpine villages. When you arrive at your hotel you will rest from your busy day of travel and take dinner at your hotel.

Day 9 MARRAKESH

After breakfast you will set off for a full or half day medina tour. During this tour you will visit the world famous square of Jna El Fna where you will most likely see snake charmers, monkeys, and other entertainers. Lunch will be on your own at a restaurant of your choice and dinner will be taken back at the hotel.

Day 10 MARRAKESH / ESSAOUIRA

After breakfast you may want to take a short walk around Marrakech before making your way to the coast to visit the artsy town of Essaouira. Upon arrival you will check into your hotel and you will have free time to explore the medina and beautiful views of the coast. Dinner will be taken at your hotel.

Day 11 ESSAOUIRA / CASABLANCA

Today you will travel to Casablanca. Your group may want to visit the medina or do any last shopping. Dinner will be taken at your hotel.

Day 12 CASABLANCA DEPART

After breakfast your driver will take you back to the Casablanca International Airport, thus ending your unforgettable tour of Morocco.
